Dr. Daniel Weintraub is an attending physician at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and a consultant psychiatrist at the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PDMDC) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He completed medical, psychiatry residency, and geriatric psychiatry fellowship training at the University of Maryland.
His areas of research interest include the psychiatric and cognitive complications of Parkinson’s disease. He is the current recipient of a 5-year Career Development Award (K23) from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) titled “Depression Diagnosis and Treatment in Parkinson’s Disease.”
