The Parkinson Council does not make grants to individuals, government agencies, or for capital building or lobbying purposes.

The Parkinson Council is extending an invitation to current grantees/partners with a proven record of results and a solid commitment to an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the work of Parkinson’s research, comprehensive care, and program implementation.
We ask current grantees/partners to submit a two-page narrative outlining how their institution plans to utilize the funds, including a projection of the number of lives impacted, strategies to engage traditionally underserved communities, and an itemized budget.

We invite new applicants who offer innovative programs in clinical care and services, research, or quality-of-life initiatives to apply for funding. The grant is for one year, from January 2026 to December 2026.
New applicants must be located in the Greater Philadelphia area (Southeastern PA, Southern NJ, and Northeast Delaware) and be a 501(c)3 registered nonprofit in good standing at the federal and state levels. For new applicants, grant requests should not exceed $30,000.
New applicants should submit a two-page narrative as described in paragraph 2 and a cover letter on the institution’s letterhead detailing experiences/expertise in working with the Parkinson’s community, including outcomes and impact. In addition, including the following info:
· Official IRS letter confirming nonprofit tax status.
· Total funds requested.
· Other sources of funding for this work (if any).
· If research, IRB approval of the project is required.
· Sustainability plan.In determining the grant award for quality-of-life, clinical, or research programs, submissions demonstrating a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and innovation in creating access to care and treatment for individuals living with PD will be given additional consideration.
Improving the quality of life of people with Parkinson’s and increasing the number of lives touched continue to be at the center of our mission. We hope the funds allocated ensure innovative, creative, and agile programming in 2026.
