Please join us every Monday this summer for Dance for PD at Temple Beth AM. Dance for PD is a unique movement program that helps people effected by Parkinson’s improve well-being, gain confidence in moving and connect with others in the Parkinson’s community in a safe, fun and creative environment.
Everyone with PD, family and friends are welcome, no dance experience necessary! You can dance in a chair, wheelchair or get up on your feet. Participants have the opportunity to experience a variety of dance themes including folk dance, ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theater numbers, all with an emphasis on using the power of music to move.
Judith Sachs and Steve Weintraub, adaptive dance teachers, lead this program with support from the Parkinson Council at Beth Am this summer. Classes are $5 each for people with Parkinson’s and free to care-partners and members of Beth Am.
