Dance for PD is a unique movement program that helps people with Parkinson’s improve well-being, gain confidence in moving and connect with others in the Parkinson’s community in a safe, fun and creative environment.
Family and friends are welcome and no dance experience necessary! Participants have the opportunity to experience a variety of dance themes including folk dance, ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theater numbers, all with an emphasis on using the power of music to move.
Dance for PD instructor Judith Sachs leads this class with support from the Parkinson Council. Individual classes are $5 each for people with Parkinson’s and free to care-partners.
For more information, please contact The Parkinson Council at 610.668.4292.
