Free “Lunch and Learn” at the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging

Have you had a fall or a near fall in the past year? Are you afraid of falling? Do you use the walls and furniture around you to steady yourself? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are at risk to fall.
Join The Parkinson Council for a “Lunch and Learn” on Friday, April 27th at 12pm at the The Philadelphia Corporation of Aging at 642 North Broad Street Philadelphia, PA 19130 on how to prevent falls in your home.
The presentation will cover topics related to seniors and individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. Presented by Stephanie Tornquist and Michele Aguado, Physical Therapists from Moss Rehab at Elkins Park and Tabor Road.
After a 45-minute presentation during lunch, there will be a Q&A and the opportunity for a limited number of interested participants to receive a 5-minute assessment from Stephanie.
