Flowers in Art
Claude Monet once said “I must have flowers, always and always.” Join us as we stop and smell the roses.
Registration is required.
These workshops for people with Parkinson’s disease and their Care Partners include a one-hour private guided tour and a two-hour studio experience with a half-hour break for lunch. There is no fee for the Friends and Family tour! Care Partners are admitted free. Parking is free of charge. Classes are limited, please register early.
Your studio art class will be taught by teaching artist Kathy Halton. She is a painter/print-maker who is passionate about the art of block printing, and has worked with students from Philadelphia to Haiti in appreciating its unique qualities. In her studio practice, she continues to be inspired by the physical and conceptual potential of the medium.
