Philadelphia Museum of Art Accessible Program Workshop for People with Parkinson’s

Funding for the Accessible Programs Workshop for People with Parkinson’s Disease and their Care Partners is made possible by a grant from The Parkinson Council.
Participants will tour the special exhibition International Pop with a Philadelphia of Museum of Art guide. Find out how Pop art’s embrace of popular culture and imagery became a worldwide phenomenon.
In the studio, participants will draw with color Conte crayon directly from still life arrangements and learn how artists compose visual elements that is engaging and compelling.
Workshops are designed for people with Parkinson’s and their care partners and includes a 1 hour private guided tour and 2 hour studio experience with 1/2 hour break for lunch. The fee is $10.00 per person. Care partners and personal attendants are admitted free. There is a parking fee of $12.00. Classes are limited, so please register early!
